Pickering Pacific advises the shareholder of Bitsmedia on the sale of ~90% stake in the group to private equity funds Affin Hwang Asset Management (Malaysia) and CMIA Capital Partners (Singapore).

Bitsmedia is the Singapore-based developer of mobile application Muslim Pro, a lifestyle application helping Muslim users throughout the world practice their faith and interact with their community. Muslim Pro is available in 15 languages, both on Android and iOS devices.

With over 45 million downloads, 10 million monthly active users and 2 million daily active users, Muslim Pro is the number one Muslim mobile application in the world.

Although valuation will remain confidential, the group was valued in tens of millions of USD.
