Sabadell Corporate Finance advises Adelanta Corporación and Explotaciones Energéticas Sinia XXI on the sale of the wind farm Veciana-Cabaro to Avenue Capital and Exus Management Partners

Veciana-Cabaro is a wind farm, located in Veciana (Catalonia, Spain), with a total of 29.27 MW installed wind energy capacity distributed in 18 wind turbines with 2,100 equivalent hours per year. The wind farm operates since January 2010.

Adelanta Corporación is a family owned business with a strong market position in the electric power generation and distribution industry. Sinia Renovables is a subsidiary of Banco Sabadell that acquires, manages and divests temporary shareholdings in companies in the renewable energy sector, with an emphasis on wind power.

Avenue Capital is a global investment firm headquartered in New York City with approximately 200 employees worldwide managing approximately $14.1 billion. Avenue Capital has invested over € 8,204 million in European companies in the last 10 years. Exus is an independent operator and investor in the renewable energy sector with a group of professionals with a deep knowledge in the wind energy sector.

The transaction has been valued at € 42 million.
